THE PRESESNT PERFECT

  PRESESNT PERFECT Defining the present perfect is very easy. It is one of the main tenses of English and is characterized by signaling actions or events that happened in the past tense, but are still relevant in the present. Although a specific time is never mentioned, the most important feature of its use is to highlight the time that passes in the action and what objective it has had in that period of time. EXAMPLE:  I’ve been teaching for more than 10 years.  (Estuve enseñando desde hace 10 años.) They have had so many job opportunities in the past 6 months. ( Han tenido muchas oportunidades de trabajo durante los 6 últimos meses) In general, the   present perfect is a mix of the present and the past.  It is used for actions in the past that have significance in the present.
